Newbury hosts William Hill Super Saturday on February 7, we preview every race.
Featuring on the seven-race card are a duo grade two contests, including The Denman Chase.
The chase track is currently heavy, soft in places – while the hurdle course is heavy, with a small area of standing water, but raceable.
Racing kicks off at 13:00, with 66 runners declared.

13:00 – WILLIAM HILL RACING EPIC BOOSTS NOVICES’ HURDLE
An epic afternoon’s racing kicks off with this two-mile half-furlong Hurdle, where nine runners are declared.
Sober Glory is the long odds-on favourite, having won all but a listed contest on his penultimate start.
The six-year-old bounced back with a smart course and distance victory last time and is looking for the Newbury hat-trick.
Philip Hobbs-trained and ridden by Harry Cobden, in the famous Brocade Racing Silks, he’ll handle the ground and a 10lb penalty should be no problem.
Kadastral was well beaten by the market leader at Chepstow, but Dan Skelton’s six-year-old is also two-from-two at Newbury.
On paper, this race looks likely to come down to a battle for the course hat-trick, with Kocktail Bleu making up the places.

13:35 – WILLIAM HILL EACH WAY EXTRA HANDICAP HURDLE
Three miles and half-a-furlong is going to take some getting on an extremely testing hurdle track.
The 6/4-favourite A Pai De Nom has yet to race over three miles and finished only fifth in his sole start on heavy ground.
Below The Radar has won on heavy going but hasn’t done much to convince three miles is his trip.
On form up to 2024, Kyntara is the pick of the field, and perhaps chasing just wasn’t his thing.
But he pulled up last time, at Haydock, and will have to leave that behind to better his 2024 second in this.

14:10 – WILLIAM HILL DENMAN CHASE
National Hunt Chase, Irish National, Welsh National. Haiti Couleurs is an extremely exciting horse for Rebecca Curtis and a worthy favourite in this grade two.
Sean Bowen takes the ride on the nine-year-old as they look to emulate Native River’s Welsh National – Gold Cup double, this season.
Venetia Williams’ horses like the mud, and L’Homme Presse is a reliable type who will serve it up to Haiti Couleurs.
Leave Of Absence and Riskintheground seemingly have a lot to find on the market leaders.

14:45 – WILLIAM HILL GAME SPIRIT CHASE
Arkle favourite tops the bill in this two-mile, half-furlong, grade two chase.
Nicky Henderson’s Lulamba was beaten a neck in last year’s Triumph Hurdle, the only blemish on his record.
The five-year-old impressed at Sandown in December and still has any amount of improvement in his young legs yet.
Saint Segal is enjoying a great season and has form in the ground, and at Newbury.
It’ll be a tough ask but the nine-year-old is reliable and will be there at the business end.
Liberty Hunter finished second in this last year but faces a stiff task this time, as does last year’s winner Master Chewy.

15:20 – WILLIAm HILL HURDLE
Let It Rain has been in the picture on all starts, included winning at listed level, and will be sharper for the run in this two-mile, half-furlong race.
Tutti Quanti will be setting records if he can carry 12-stone to victory here.
Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden team up to attempt a second consecutive Newbury success.
Un Sens A La Vie finished behind the Supreme favourite at Kempton in November and won comfortably at Ludlow last time.
He could land a fourth success in this race for Nigel Twiston-Davies.
All In You ran a huge race at Ascot before improving to beat that rival at Sandown and further progress puts him in the mix.
In a hugely-competitive race, claims can be made for the majority of the 16 runners.

15:55 – WILLIAM HILL CHELTENHAM NON-RUNNER MONEY BACK NOVICES’ LIMITED HANDICAP CHASE
Paul Nicholls has done well in this two-mile, seven-and-a-half-furlong contest and Captain Bellamy ran well here over Christmas.
Itseemslikeit is two-from-two over fences post-wind-op and will both stay and handle the conditions.
It’ll be a massive ask for jig’s Forge to defy top weight in a competitive race but he’s more than capable.
Silver Thorn is up four pounds but has won his last two well and looks for the hat-trick.
Knight of Allen is another with claims on his win here in December.

16:30 – WILLIAM HILL RACING BET BUILDER BEACONS (A STANDARD OPEN NATIONAL HUNT FLAT RACE)
Risky Obsession ran a cracker on rules debut at Warwick and fetched a princely sum before that run, so is highly thought of.
No Walkover looks for the hat-trick and seemingly has plenty of improvement in him too.
Trojan Tale won on heavy at Wincanton and Harry Cobden is booked to ride.
Half Hoping is another one who enters calculations, finishing just behind No Walkover at Chepstow, before winning at Fontwell.
